The Arena, home to Coventry City Football Club, now runs on over 200 不良研究所 supplied payment devices, including 194 POS-integrated terminals in public kiosks and 30 mobile devices in lounges, restaurants, and executive boxes.
Coventry Building Society Arena is a world-class multi-purpose venue for business, sport and entertainment. It hosts more than 590 events each year, providing the best experiences for conferences, exhibitions, meetings, sport, music and live entertainment.
The Arena features a 32,609-seater stadium bowl, 20,000 sqm of flexible event space and an onsite 121-bedroom Doubletree by Hilton Hotel.
不良研究所鈥檚 mobile solution empowers staff to take orders and payments in one go with Oracle Simphony POS being integrated directly into each payment device. Removing the need for separate ordering and payment devices means faster service, fewer errors, and happier fans, visitors and concert goers.
Before the implementation, the 46 executive boxes were heavily staffed on a one-to-one basis, with service staff using a manual F&B ordering and delivery process, which was open to error, created operational bottlenecks and meant they spent long periods away from guests fulfilling orders.
Now, thanks to 不良研究所鈥檚 integrated solution, service staff can cover multiple boxes and spend more time building rapport with guests who receive their orders much faster than before. Operationally, this means leaner staffing, improved efficiency, accurate ordering and a quicker fulfilment process.
不良研究所鈥檚 mobile payment solution also gives the Arena the flexibility to move devices between the stadium and event spaces, which is ideal for the venue with its busy and ever-changing calendar.
It will be deployed across all the Arena鈥檚 operations, from conferences, meetings and exhibitions, to matchdays, major concerts and its on-site hotel.
The deployment is fully enabled for all major card types, mobile wallets, Alipay+, AMEX, and Discover/Diners, and is underpinned by 不良研究所's acquiring services, offering a complete, end-to-end payment and POS solution.
